Description
This striking artwork juxtaposes two worlds: an incandescent apocalyptic landscape and a serene, celestial sky. At the center, a rectangle of blue sky stands out, filled with majestic white clouds, creating a powerful contrast against the surrounding chaos. The vivid background colors—flaming reds and brilliant oranges—simulate a blazing scene, evoking an infernal furnace. This composition plays with the duality of calm and turmoil, perhaps symbolizing hope and renewal against destruction. The bold transition between these two styles highlights the artist's technique and narrative ingenuity. This visual confrontation captivates the viewer, prompting reflection on themes of balance and duality. It is a work that resonates with its visual power and depth of meaning.
– Text by the Artist: Léa Dedieu
Presentation
Léa Dedieu, a young designer, graduated from the Toulouse School of Fine Arts, creates objects and furnishes spaces. Fascinated by color, she draws her inspiration from the work of the Impressionists, Pop culture, the acid reflections of Maurizio Cattelan and contemporary designers, Pierre Charpin, Bertjan Pot or Marcel Wanders. What she likes is experimenting without material limits. Before each creation, she draws, flattens geometric shapes and measures. Between two technical drawings hides his graphic universe. Painting, pencil, watercolor, felt-tip pens, Indian ink ... All mediums are used to invent an imposing flower, a silhouette, a decoration. A complete artist, she is overflowing with creativity and the desire to create.
