Description
The wooden support is made from old transport crates that the artist disassembled and reassembled. The wooden frame is custom-made, with an integrated aluminum rail on the back for solid, flush-to-wall hanging.
A double certificate is issued by the gallery representing SeiLeise in France. The artist's original signature is on the back of the work.
Presentation
Originally from Cologne, SeiLeise quickly became a street-art star in Germany. His artist name means "be discreet", no doubt in reference to the nocturnal and illicit activity of his beginnings. Recognized specialist in the non-invasive techniques of reverse graffiti and paste-up, he regularly creates routes in the streets of his city (but also in Berlin, Hamburg, Paris and other European cities) with his poetic and ephemeral works.
Ever since SeiLeise (Tim Ossege, his real name) has been exhibiting in galleries, urban art collectors have been snapping up his very neat original stencils made on different supports: paper, aluminium, wood or concrete. In France, the magazine GraffitiArt paid him a first tribute in its number 68 (February/March 2023).
