Description
Artwork Pre-holidays encapsulates the vibrant energy and festive spirit of the season. The dynamic brushstrokes and layered color palette convey a sense of movement—perhaps the hurried preparations, the flickering candlelight, or the joyful anticipation that fills the air before a celebration. With subtle influences from music and a strong connection to the artist's ArtHouse abstraction philosophy, this painting extends the narrative of Christmas Mystery, making it a compelling standalone work or a harmonious addition to the triptych.
Both works highlight Anatoly Kost's ability to blend music, emotion, and abstraction into a deeply immersive visual experience.
Presentation
Anatoly Kost (Kostyuk) is an outstanding Ukrainian artist, born in Volyn in 1960, and his career has been over 35 years. His works in the style of abstract art are currently in many private European collections and the National Art Museum of Ukraine. With his works, the artist visited international exhibitions. The artist adheres to the concept of the process of transmuting the energy of abstract art into the energy of music or choreography and vice versa, noting their mutual polyphony. An essential factor in the forces of his work are the masterpieces of world musical classics and choreography, which became the basis for determining the personal philosophical direction in abstraction, namely contemp-abstraction (plastic image of the internal state).
