Description
Abash51
"September in the City" by renowned Ukrainian artist Marusya Abashidze captures a fleeting moment of urban life, bathed in the golden hues of early autumn. The painting depicts a cozy street scene with a café terrace where people casually chat, sip wine, and enjoy the crisp September air. Warm sunlight softens the textures of old buildings, casting long shadows and illuminating small, everyday joys — a child gazing into a shop window, a dog on a red leash, quiet companionship over coffee. Rendered in a loose, expressive style with gentle brushstrokes and a palette of ochres, reds, and cool blues, the painting conveys a sense of nostalgia and comfort. Abashidze invites viewers to slow down and appreciate the beauty of routine — the simple poetry of ordinary life unfolding in a sunlit square. Through this piece, the artist expresses a deep affection for the rhythm of the city, where the passing of seasons is marked not just by the trees, but by the habits of its people. It's a celebration of community, warmth, and quiet reflection in the heart of urban space.
