Description
This striking work offers a minimalist depiction of a remote landscape. The barely textured sky, dominated by soft gray hues, evokes a serene and contemplative atmosphere. In this painting, touches of black outline elongated shapes, suggesting islands or reliefs on the horizon. The absence of bright color accentuates the calm and sobriety, creating a feeling of immensity and silence. The artist's technique, which blends delicate nuances and subtle blurring, invites meditation. This treatment translates a refined and poetic aesthetic that challenges the viewer's imagination. This work is distinguished by its balance between abstraction and realism, and elegantly highlights the beauty of simplicity.
Presentation
I have been working with oil on canvas for three years.
From my initial work in calligraphy, I kept the taste for rhythm, the energy of the movement and contrasts.
Living in the French Alps, I walk a lot in the mountains but also at the edge of my native ocean.
Back in my studio, I seek to express the strength of the elements that surround us.
Storms, waves, thunderstorms but also calm, serenity, resource.
The human being, very small in face of this grandiose nature, continues to explore it, seeks to understand what surrounds him.
In my artworks, I invite you to feel it!
