Description
An abstract composition captures the essence of a winter landscape. The eye rests on a central band of deep blue. The gesture is sure. Vertical lines evoke silhouetted trees or rocky walls. The oil paint spreads precisely on the canvas.
The contrast establishes between the density of the center and the clarity of the sky and the ground. White dominates the edges. It brings a sensation of silence and cold. The space seems suspended. The diffused light erases the horizon line.
This painting from 191 plays on the repetition of rhythms. The blue varies in intensity to create a subtle depth. The whole exudes a serene atmosphere. Each brushstroke structures the space without closing it. The visual balance rests on this tension between void and matter. The composition ends with a discreet signature in the lower right corner.
