Description
Litv 1012
"Spring" by Daniil Litvinov is a vibrant, folk-inspired painting that captures a joyful moment in a Ukrainian village as winter gives way to spring. The scene centers on a young boy scattering feed for a group of animated chickens and roosters, their bright feathers contrasting with the soft, melting snow that still blankets the ground. The worn wooden fences, modest pink house, and bare trees evoke a sense of rustic authenticity and warmth. Despite the lingering cold, there's an unmistakable feeling of life returning—sunlight cuts through the clouds, and the animals move with energy and purpose. Litvinov uses playful detail and expressive brushwork to celebrate the resilience and continuity of village life. Through this work, he expresses hope, renewal, and the deeply rooted connection between people, animals, and the seasonal rhythms of the Ukrainian countryside.
