Description
The painting is inspired by the evening ambiance on the beach at sunset: perhaps an opportunity to think outside the box, enjoy the view, reminisce about vacations, or connect the freedom of the sea with the carefree lightness of being. A moment to pause. The result is an atmospheric work that can transport the viewer mentally to the sea.
The maritime diversity of colors, shapes, and the complexity of nature by the sea—its power, delicacy, rhythms, phenomena...—is an important source of inspiration for my maritime paintings. Since I live on the Flensburg Fjord | Baltic Sea, I enjoy gathering inspiration for paintings like this on beautiful walks by the beach: feeling the wind in my hair, smelling the sea, hearing the sound of the waves and the cries of seagulls, seeing the movement of color in the water and in the sky.
This modern painting is painted on canvas with highly pigmented acrylic paint. The painting is mounted on a 4 cm deep gallery wrap frame and can be hung without an additional frame, as the sides are painted. The painting is securely packaged and usually shipped via DHL Express.
Presentation
Peter Nottrott is a painter who feels at home in abstract painting. He works with acrylic on the largest possible canvases, up to 3.5 square meters.
The most important thing in his work is the creative freedom for his authentic way of painting. This means he is in his large, atmospheric studio in Flenburg, has brushes and paints ready and a large white canvas in front of him. He loves to immerse himself completely in painting - that's when he loses all sense of time and surroundings. It's almost like being in a trance-like state. This kind of freedom allows Peter Nottrott to infuse as much dynamic power and positive energy into his paintings as possible. Peter loves to compose different color combinations and shapes into a painting, and he likes to pass on his love of art to all who see and enjoy his work.
He has sold paintings to more than 30 countries worldwide, so his large collector base is international. Many Nottrott paintings hang in the United States, but also In in United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong or Japan, and of course in Germany and many European countries, the colorful works shine and bring the inclined viewer to enjoy positive energy.
