Description
Can mutual love be reduced to a chemistry formula?
Is love the reaction of two molecules that combine to form one? A balance between two substances produced during an encounter?
Is a relationship of mutual love between two adults expressed by the rule: "I give to you, you give to me, we give to each other"!
There are no measures for feelings, no graduated pipette, test tube, scale, thermometer, tester can tell us the degree of love!
Everything about love is a mystery. Its secrets will remain forever buried: its origin, its intensity, its constancy or inconstancy, its growth or decline.
Our current societies do not give without hope of return, but we are only sensitive beings, without total control of our emotions and sometimes susceptible to developing feelings, without the assurance that they are shared by both the loved and the lover.
Science doesn't tell us everything about everything.
Presentation
Born in Paris, living in Paris. Christine Beloeuvre worked for over 30 years in Advertising in France, Africa, and Asia.
In 2016, when she had stopped her work as an advertiser, one ordinary day, she woke up energized by an intense impulse: to get drawing paper, brushes, and tubes of acrylic paint. This day would not be ordinary but decisive. Passionate about art, about creation in all its forms, Christine Beloeuvre finally discovers an artistic mode of expression in her image, combining a keen sense of color with a brimming imagination.
She undertakes to learn the techniques of acrylic painting and until now will not stop taking classes with an art teacher to improve. She began this activity with paper, focusing on color combinations to create shapes with complete freedom. Quickly, she converted to wooden panels and uses the collage technique applied on landscape backgrounds that she paints herself. Since 2021, Christine Beloeuvre has become an artist-painter practicing only acrylic painting on canvas.
Distorting everyday objects becomes her source of creation. According to her, we create links with them, they are an integral part of our lives. She does not consider them only as functional objects, she attributes symbolic power to them. Her credo is "Objects have so much to say...".
Christine Beloeuvre presents her work at Salons and exhibitions in galleries in Paris.
