Description
This large portrait can make one think of an elegant jazz man, and around him, the movement of music.
It is painted on 3mm raw cardboard and laminated to an 8mm panel, and the edges are painted black.
Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
