Description
Acrylic on synthetic stone effect panel.
Collage in the background of a real map of North East Africa from 1929.
Next to the portrait of the child we can see the Red Sea and the entire region of Palestine.
(artist description)
I wanted to capture the strength and vulnerability of a gaze at the heart of human storms. With touches of graffiti and acrylic, I blended history and the present moment, creating a powerful contrast. This work will vibrate in your space, bringing a deep, raw energy, charged with emotion and silent revolt.
Presentation
Self-taught, Maxime Andriot painted from a young age. He began to paint landscapes of his region first and had his first exhibition at the age of 16. Subsequently, he will experiment with different techniques, oil, acrylic, pastel, aerosol and different media. He has many inspirational subjects such as portraiture and cityscape, but his favorite subject remains the cartoons of his childhood to which he likes to give bright and electric colors.
