Description
This captivating artwork features an elegant woman wearing a sailor's cap, symbolizing strong character and a spirit of adventure. The background, an excerpt from an old document, adds an interesting contrast between past and present. Bold colors, particularly pink and black, highlight specific elements, creating a dynamic and striking effect. The inscription "SEXY SAILOR" on the left adds a provocative and daring touch. Splashes of paint accentuate the energy and spontaneity of the image. The composition is balanced, harmoniously combining realistic elements with a touch of urban graffiti, making the artwork both modern and timeless.
Presentation
Self-taught, Maxime Andriot painted from a young age. He began to paint landscapes of his region first and had his first exhibition at the age of 16. Subsequently, he will experiment with different techniques, oil, acrylic, pastel, aerosol and different media. He has many inspirational subjects such as portraiture and cityscape, but his favorite subject remains the cartoons of his childhood to which he likes to give bright and electric colors.
