Description

Dawn often produces a brilliant glow that follows daybreak and precedes sunrise. The moment the sun rises is truly magical, and I wanted to create a modern evocation of it. The upper section unfolds a series of blue hues, perhaps suggesting a serene sky. This is followed by a band of purple and burgundy, creating an effect of depth and mystery. Finally, the lower section shines with a gradient of intense, invigorating reds and oranges. The geometric arrangement of the horizontal bands provides a rigorous visual structure while also evoking a serene space. The masterful use of color and texture creates an immersive experience, inviting contemplation. This painting is distinguished by its ability to create powerful emotions through abstract means, establishing a contrasting dialogue between calm and intensity.

A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about landscapes, both real and imagined, he has made them the heart of his work. His exploration of color and synthesis has naturally led him to contemporary landscape painting, while maintaining a high standard of quality in his creations. His series are resolutely abstract, where contemplation and aesthetics take center stage. For him, landscape is much more than a subject: it is a space of freedom where color becomes a language. Convinced of the influence of color on the body and mind, he crafts creations imbued with harmony, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.
