Description
The art of Pitu is part of a spontaneous lineage. This portrait explores the human figure with assumed graphic freedom.
The line is sharp. The colors clash to create an asymmetrical face. The gaze, composed of two distinct shapes, brings a playful and intriguing dimension to the composition.
The influence of street art is felt in the gesture. The artist uses a mix of techniques to enrich the material. Acrylic is combined with pencil, resin, and Posca markers.
This work recalls the aesthetic of raw art. The simplified silhouette stands out against a pale and uniform green background.
The whole plays on chromatic contrasts. Deep red dominates the face, while touches of blue come to rhythm the body.
The work dates from 2025. It testifies to a modern approach to abstract portraiture.
