Description
This artwork brings a cheerful moment to life by capturing a bright, sunny day by the sea — complete with a confident orange cat, curious seagulls, and the sparkling turquoise shoreline. The bold acrylic texture gives every element a lively, almost tactile presence, reminding viewers of warm ocean breezes and quiet beach adventures. The artwork feels playful yet calm, like a story unfolding between the cat and the birds as they share the same stretch of sunlit rocks.
The bright turquoise sky, deep blue water, and warm orange details create an uplifting, modern look that instantly draws attention. It's the kind of artwork that brings joy, color, and light into any room while adding a touch of humor and personality.

Presentation
Katerina Vorontsova (b. 1984) is a contemporary artist whose minimalist visual language explores clarity, focus, and inner presence. She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Tula State University in 2006 and spent years working in marketing, design, and psychology before returning to painting at the age of forty — a turning point that shaped her artistic identity and her pursuit of intentional simplicity.
Vorontsova creates works that function as quiet spaces within a world saturated with visual noise. Using acrylic and oil, she combines restrained composition with pure, resonant color, inviting viewers to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. Her paintings evoke a sense of emotional stillness, where color and form speak directly, without distraction or excess.
Her exhibition history includes participation in Accidental Permanence, a project of the “Tula's Rhapsody" initiative organized in collaboration with the Tula Union of Artists and Art Group 6/57, shown in Ryazan, Novomoskovsk, and Tula. In 2025, her work was featured in the official Tula City Day Exhibition, and she continues her collaboration as a resident artist of Art Group 6/57. Her upcoming international exhibition, “Cats vs. Dogs: A Portrait of Devotion," will take place at Artseeker Gallery, New York.
Katerina's practice centers on creating spaces of awareness rather than decoration — artworks that serve as moments of reflection, grounding, and genuine presence.Â
