Description
This artwork is a dynamic abstract expression of vibrant energy and motion, characterized by its bold use of color and texture. The piece masterfully blends earthy browns with striking blues, white, and hints of vivid red, creating a captivating visual intensity. Swirling black strokes add depth and intrigue, leading the eye across the canvas in a dance of fluidity and chaos. The artist's vigorous brushwork is evident, with layers overlapping to evoke a sense of spontaneity and raw emotion. The interplay of light and dark hues suggests contrast and balance, inviting deep contemplation. This composition's unique blend of abstract forms and colors compels viewers to delve into their interpretations, stimulating the imagination and evoking profound reflections. Engaging and bold, this artwork stands as a testament to the power of abstract art to convey complex emotions and themes without the need for concrete representation.
Object frame: wood, colour black. Ready to hang.
Presentation
Richard Solstjärna is a Swedish contemporary artist whose work exists at the intersection of art, philosophy, spirituality, and science. His paintings transcend conventional abstraction by exploring the invisible energies that shape reality.
Drawing inspiration from abstract expressionism, Japanese calligraphy, Zen Buddhist aesthetics, and concepts from quantum physics, Solstjärna has developed a distinctive artistic language that speaks to both the emotional and intellectual senses.
Exhibitions in Europe, New York and Odessa. Including Solo, group exhibitions, Art Fairs and Biennials. Won prizes and Awards during the years. Represented in international art dictionaries and art books. International Press and media coverage over the years. Solstjärna's works can be found in numerous national and international permanent collections.
"In my paintings the Energy and Forces which are immanent in Nature are visualized. Forces at work in maximum self-sufficiency. Primary, undiluted, full of tension. Never at ease always in the moment. A pulse in rhythm and rhyme. Emerging from a Void, an emptiness and silent space which is the source of its origin." - Richard Solstjärna
