Description
Joyful Coastal Figurative Artwork with Woman in Turquoise Sea, Koi Fish & Soft Blue.
This contemporary figurative artwork captures a quiet moment of joy, freedom, and harmony between human presence and nature. A woman stands waist-deep in clear turquoise water, her body relaxed, her posture calm, as gentle ripples surround her. She turns slightly, caught in a private, peaceful moment, while a koi fish glides nearby — a subtle symbol of curiosity, balance, and connection.
Painted in oil on canvas, the artwork blends realism with poetic softness. The sea shimmers in layered greens and blues, reflecting light and movement, while the open sky and distant sailboat add a sense of space, freedom, and calm escape. Soft pink floral forms in the background introduce a dreamlike note, as if memory and imagination are merging with reality.
This artwork speaks about inner peace, summer warmth, and the simple happiness found in presence. It invites the viewer to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with nature and oneself. Ideal for collectors drawn to coastal figurative art, feminine imagery, and emotionally uplifting works, this piece brings light, freshness, and serenity into modern interiors.
Presentation
Aisylu is an artist born and raised in a small town in Russia, where she studied the basics of painting and graphics at Bashkir State Pedagogical University (2009-2014). During her time in higher education, she launched her own handmade jewelry online shop, which she ran until 2013. After completing her studies, she worked as an artist-designer for an advertising company while also creating commissioned paintings.
In search of a major life change, Aisylu moved to Greece in 2018 to work as a yacht stewardess. It was during this time at sea that she realized how profoundly the ocean influenced her, inspiring her to return to art and focus on creating oil seascapes. Starting her life from scratch, she learned the Greek language and immersed herself in the local culture.
Currently based in the port city of Piraeus, Greece, Aisylu works as an artist in the luminism–neo-impressionist style. Her art serves as a reminder of the fluidity of life and the importance of not forgetting to enjoy it. Her artworks are in private collections in Italy, Cyprus, Greece, the Netherlands and Russia.
