Description
The third artwork from the series “World Between Layers" explores the inner space that exists between what is seen and what is felt. Warm tones of ochre and terracotta blend with deep grey shades, creating the sense of emotional and layered depth.
This painting reflects quiet inner processes and transformations, where new meanings slowly emerge from within.
Presentation
Aliona Koroliova is a Ukrainian artist whose practice explores the subtle connection between material and emotion. Art has always been an inseparable part of her life — a quiet language through which she perceives and expresses the world.
In 2011, she graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Technologies and Design with a degree in Textile Design, which shaped her sensitivity to texture, composition, and color. Over time, her path naturally evolved from botanical watercolor illustration to abstract painting, where color and light become a form of inner contemplation.
Since 2024, she has been studying in the studio of Ukrainian artist Oleksii Malykh. In her works, she turns to the themes of light, balance, and silence — creating a space not for explanation, but for feeling.
