Description
This work reveals an imagined landscape that exists on the threshold between the visible and the hidden. Through translucent layers of color, the silhouette of a city or an organic structure emerges—like an architecture of memory dissolving in time. Vertical forms resemble towers or stems rising from a misty space, creating a sense of fragile balance between the natural and the artificial.
The yellow light that permeates the composition acts as a source of inner energy—it does not illuminate as much as it radiates, shaping an atmosphere of both uncertainty and calm. Dark flows and soft textural transitions create a sense of depth, suggesting an immersion into a multidimensional space where each layer conceals another level of meaning.
The painting invites contemplation and an inner dialogue, leaving space for interpretation. It is not a specific place, but a state—between form and dissolution, between reality and imagination.

Presentation
Aliona Koroliova is a Ukrainian artist whose practice explores the subtle connection between material and emotion. Art has always been an inseparable part of her life — a quiet language through which she perceives and expresses the world.
In 2011, she graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Technologies and Design with a degree in Textile Design, which shaped her sensitivity to texture, composition, and color. Over time, her path naturally evolved from botanical watercolor illustration to abstract painting, where color and light become a form of inner contemplation.
Since 2024, she has been studying in the studio of Ukrainian artist Oleksii Malykh. In her works, she turns to the themes of light, balance, and silence — creating a space not for explanation, but for feeling.
