Le soudeur, 2026

Xavier Wttrwulghe

This captivating artwork presents an enigmatic figure wearing large, round glasses, gazing at the viewer with intriguing intensity. Shades of purple and gray blend harmoniously, accentuating a sense of mystery and introspection. The facial features are boldly sketched with strong black lines, demonstrating a mastery of contrast. Geometric shapes scattered across the background lend a modern, abstract dimension, adding depth to the composition. The daring use of light and shadow on the glasses creates an illusion of transparency, instantly captivating the eye. The textured background and subtle splashes of color give the work an impressive visual dynamism. This painting does more than simply depict a face; it evokes intrigue and invites the viewer to ponder the character's story and inner thoughts.

Xavier Wttrwulghe is a versatile artist born in Belgium in 1976.
I studied at the Brussels Academy of Fine Arts and from a very young age was interested in all forms of art (photography, painting, sculpture). I received my painting valuation from Akoun in 2019.
One of his photographic artworks was purchased from a private collection by the Musée des Franciscaines in Deauville. He is a complete artist who will never fail to amaze you!
