The artwork depicts a stylized frontal portrait, rendered in black, white, and shades of gray, set against a dark background splashed with white projections reminiscent of a starry sky or cosmic matter. The face, stern and determined, is partially covered by a kind of visor or futuristic glasses, reinforcing the impression of a hybrid between human and cybernetic figure.
Around the character, bright fuchsia pink triangles radiate like bursts of light or fragments of signal. Each is covered with graphic signs resembling abstract calligraphy or encrypted symbols, evoking at once language, code, and the sacred. This geometry sharply contrasts with the depth of the black background and structures the composition like a contemporary icon.
The contrast between the almost mechanical rigidity of the face, the chromatic violence of the pink, and the controlled chaos of the splatters creates a strong tension between order and disorder, flesh and technology, identity and depersonalization.
With Trinity, Willis seems to question the multiplicity of modern being—between body, machine, and information—and to propose a figure that is at once protective, cold, and transcendent, like an urban deity born from digital culture and street art.
Originally from Savoie, French artist Willis discovered his calling at a very young age. At just 9 years old, he joined the legendary Bassens Cartoon Studio, laying the foundations for an artistic journey driven by meaning and emotion.
His commitment goes far beyond aesthetics: he uses his art as a vehicle for solidarity. Deeply affected by illness within his family—a sister living with endometriosis and relatives battling breast cancer—he creates works imbued with hope and resilience. In 2024, one of his pieces was sold for €1,000 at a Project Venus charity auction benefiting the French Breast Cancer League.
But Willis's heart beats even stronger when it comes to childhood and dreams. Just a month later, he teamed up with Fred Noleemeet on the Champs-Élysées to fulfill the wish of a young girl with leukemia, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Through the magic of his paintbrushes, he etched an unforgettable memory into the heart of this little warrior.
In the world of street art, Willis has found his voice—a voice that speaks through vibrant colors, bold forms, and diverse mediums: large-scale murals, repurposed electrical boxes, sculptures, and meticulous stencils. Each piece is a manifesto, a visual ode to love, justice, and hope.
Guided by passion and altruism, Willis Street embodies the power of engaged art—art that touches lives, heals wounds, and inspires action. A reminder, too, that each of us can choose to follow our own path—with heart.
