Original painting from our collection
This artwork is an evocative landscape that masterfully captures the drama of a turbulent sky reflected upon a serene body of water. The painting skillfully uses a rich palette of blues, grays, and pinks, conveying a sense of dynamic movement and depth. The clouds are depicted with bold, textured brushstrokes, creating a vivid contrast with the calm, mirror-like surface of the water below. The horizon features a distant shore, painted in earthy tones of red and brown, adding warmth to the composition. Two small, indistinct figures suggest human presence, adding scale and narrative intrigue. The reflection in the water mirrors the complex sky, doubling the sense of grandeur. This artwork is a compelling exploration of color, light, and compositional balance, inviting the viewer to be immersed in its tranquil yet powerful atmosphere.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
