Description
This captivating artwork presents a bold fusion of color and abstract forms. The dominant reds and blues immediately capture the viewer's attention, creating a striking contrast against a complex background of black and white patterns. Sinuous contours and organic figures seem to emerge from the structured chaos, adding a dreamlike dimension to the image. The red forms, adorned with sketched anthropomorphic figures, evoke a profound vitality, while the blue, flecked with white, offers a sense of mystery and vastness. The meticulous details, visible in the black interlacing, testify to an impressive technical mastery. This unique work engages the viewer, inviting them to delve into a world where imagination and reality harmoniously blend.
Presentation
Looking at the paintings of Christophe Ausello.
The material of Christophe Ausello's works is the new world that he discovers, day after day, year after year. Without any reference to anything existing, on the fringes, so to speak, of official painting.
– neither figurative because imaginary, nor abstract because real – his paintings reveal his inner universe, where signs abound, swarm, like insects leaving their traces, like plant debris, like the first elements of life.
– the poet Henri Michaux called this, for his writings, “life in the folds". He himself is surprised by his production, as if, in his daily fabric of difficulties and work, these signs revealed a hidden treasure to him, and that covering the paper or canvas with these mysterious signs gave him a very real joy.
It is this joy that he shares with us, it is this secret journey that he invites us to.
Thank you, dear Christophe Ausello.
