Description
This captivating work, dominated by an intricate pattern of abstract lines and shapes, masterfully employs a limited color palette focused on blue and white. Each brushstroke appears meticulously orchestrated to create a complex network that invites interpretation. The sinuous lines are reminiscent of a dynamic labyrinth, evoking both chaos and harmony. At first glance, the viewer might perceive a certain disorder, but upon closer inspection, a methodical structure emerges. This paradoxical balance lends the work its depth and dynamism. The contrasts between colors and patterns amplify the sense of movement and fluidity, while the apparent absence of a central focal point encourages continuous visual exploration. This creation never ceases to captivate, transforming the observer into an active participant in its quest for interpretation.
Presentation
Looking at the paintings of Christophe Ausello.
The material of Christophe Ausello's works is the new world that he discovers, day after day, year after year. Without any reference to anything existing, on the fringes, so to speak, of official painting.
– neither figurative because imaginary, nor abstract because real – his paintings reveal his inner universe, where signs abound, swarm, like insects leaving their traces, like plant debris, like the first elements of life.
– the poet Henri Michaux called this, for his writings, “life in the folds". He himself is surprised by his production, as if, in his daily fabric of difficulties and work, these signs revealed a hidden treasure to him, and that covering the paper or canvas with these mysterious signs gave him a very real joy.
It is this joy that he shares with us, it is this secret journey that he invites us to.
Thank you, dear Christophe Ausello.
