Description
A deep immersion into stillness. This triptych captures a nocturnal horizon where sky and water merge. The color palette is a masterclass in blue. It shifts from a dark, velvet midnight to a luminous, electric center.
Deeply rooted in minimalism, the artwork strips away the superfluous. It leaves only the essence of a landscape. The oil and acrylic layers create a seamless gradient. This soft transition suggests a quiet, atmospheric depth.
The artist utilizes a precise, multidisciplinary approach to evoke cultural resilience and peace. Each panel acts as a window into a meditative state. The composition balances a refined aesthetic with a powerful emotional weight. It transforms a simple seascape into a profound exploration of space and shadow.
The horizon line remains steady and unwavering across the three canvases. This continuity guides the eye in a rhythmic motion. The result is a contemplative experience that invites silence. The smooth finish reflects a contemporary pursuit of purity and light.

BIOGRAPHY
Nataliia Krykun, is a Ukrainian Austrian ultra-contemporary multidisciplinary artist.
Her works capture the serene yet powerful spirit of nature through a distinctive fusion of abstract minimalism and impressionism. Krykun draws inspiration from Nature, boundless horizons, shifting light, and meditative rhythms of the ocean.
Krykun’s approach is deeply intuitive, allowing color and light to guide her process. By reducing visual elements to their essential lines and hues, she evokes a timeless sense of space and depth. Her work often resonates with viewers as both a personal sanctuary and a universal nature memory, transcending geography and speaking to the human longing for openness and freedom.
Her signature blue–turquoise artworks are an invitation into a world of quiet contemplation, where the horizon becomes a meeting point between reality and imagination. Working primarily in oil and acrylic on canvas, she distils vast impressions seascape and impressions landscape into pure forms, subtle textures, and layered tonal harmonies. Each painting is a study in stillness and movement — a balance between the expansive calm of minimalism and the emotive brushwork of impressionism.
Krykun has participated in numerous international exhibitions and art fairs worldwide, including VOLTA Basel, ArtVilnius, CONTEXT Art Fair during Art Basel Week Miami, Artexpo New York, Affordable Art Fair in London and The Other Art Fair, ARTMUC in Munich, and exhibitions in Austria’s Krems Museum within the historic Dominican Church.
A significant milestone in her career was her participation in the Pavilion of Ukraine at the 58th La Biennale di Venezia, in the group project “The Shadow of a Dream Cast Upon Giardini della Biennale.”
