Description
Exclusive to Belart Gallery.
This captivating artwork showcases a young girl adorned with vibrant, multicolored angelic wings, merging realism with fantasy. Her delicate expression is accentuated by the luminous, warm palette of her skin, drawing attention to her deep, contemplative eyes. The girl's traditional pink attire adds an ethnic undertone, enriched by intricate, embroidered patterns. Her wings, composed of a brilliant spectrum of colors including vivid pinks, blues, and greens, create a striking contrast against the muted, graffiti-inspired background. This juxtaposition emphasizes her ethereal presence amidst an urban setting. The artistic fusion of splattered paint and fine detail speaks to a dynamic interplay between innocence and strength. The work commands a narrative of hope and purity, seamlessly blending street art vibrancy with classical portraiture to evoke both wonder and introspection.
Presentation
French artist Vincent Bardou was born in 1989 in Vitry-sur-Seine. He was quickly drawn to design, then discovered urban culture and graffiti, which would greatly inspire him. It was with design and drawing that he took his first steps into professional life, then decided to devote himself entirely to art in 2014 and moved to the south of France.
It is through art that he manages to refocus, but also to maintain a certain open-mindedness, to consider the world from a different angle and not to confine himself to a single idea. Art allows him to broaden his perceptions of the world. Thus, he addresses many subjects that are close to his heart: the protection of nature, war, or even the relationship that humans have with the media.
His style is eclectic and can range from abstract to figurative. He depicts characters from popular culture in black and white with acrylics, invaded by colored lines from the spray can. With his cinema paintings, he explores different styles while imposing a certain rigor on himself.
