Description
White and Blue Eruption - Contemporary Artwork
This painting is built around an explosive movement that bursts forth from a point of tension. The splashes of paint, applied with a palette knife, surge outward in a rapid, sharp dynamic, evoking an eruption or an expanding burst of energy.
The contrasts between deep black and shades of blue, from the darkest to the lightest, are accentuated by flashes of white that give rhythm to the composition. The iridescent effects create subtle variations depending on the light, reinforcing the intensity and sense of movement. The pronounced, directional texture captures the light on the reliefs and amplifies the visual impact of the whole.
Created with a knife using acrylic paint on cotton canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher, it features black-painted edges for a clean, contemporary finish. A layer of glossy varnish applied via spray protects the work while enhancing the depth of the contrasts and the brilliance of the colors.
A unique, signed piece, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and carefully packaged.
Presentation
Jonathan Pradillon, born in 1993 in France, is a painter whose work is distinguished by the audacity of his colors and his attraction to abstraction. His works, colorful and energetic, play with contrasts and capture the eye, inviting an immersion in his artistic universe.
After four years of studying computer graphics and crafts, he chose to move away from digital technology to devote himself fully to manual creation, exploring painting as his main means of expression.
Since childhood, he has been fascinated by colors , shapes and materials, which naturally leads him to diversify his practices. In addition to painting, he creates sculptures combining woodworking and metal assembly with arc welding, thus creating unique pieces that combine strength and delicacy.
A full-time artist since 2012 and officially declared in 2015, he continues his path with passion, constantly exploring new ways to bring his ideas to life.
