Hand-painted on worldmap on 2 cm wood plate in floater frame.

No stencil or screen print.

On the faded surface of a vintage world map, a wondrous scene takes shape: a boy and a girl sit in a gigantic paper plane, their eyes gleaming with the spirit of discovery. The map beneath them is alive with winding trade routes, mysterious coastlines, and names of far-off lands, whispering tales of journeys long past. Guided by curiosity, they sail above continents and oceans, charting their own path into the uncharted.

Their flight is no longer bound to a single city – it is a voyage across the world itself, where borders blur and every compass point holds the promise of adventure. Like young explorers inscribing their own story onto the great cartographies of history, they drift across seas and mountains, driven by wonder and imagination.

Each gust of wind carries them over forgotten kingdoms and unexplored territories, reminding them that The Great Beyond is not some faraway dream, but a living horizon always within reach. With every tilt of their paper wings, they rewrite the map – not with ink, but with courage, freedom, and boundless belief in the impossible.

The aged texture of the map adds depth and resonance, as though the canvas itself holds centuries of discoveries, voyages, and aspirations. And here, within this timeless moment, two children are not just flying – they are charting a new world, embracing The Great Beyond as their own boundless territory of dreams.
