Description
This decidedly contemporary work boldly plays with textures and colors. Dominated by a vivid, almost aggressive yellow, it immediately captures the viewer's attention. Abstract forms, reminiscent of almost human figures, emerge from the chaotic dark hues at the base, creating a striking contrast. Thick layers of paint add a tactile dimension, drawing the eye toward the subtle nuances of gray and black. The central element, resembling an entangled circle, seems to struggle to break free from a tormented background. The use of scribbled lines embodies a dynamic tension, connecting the various elements of the painting. This intriguing composition evokes a struggle between structure and freedom, chaos and harmony, leaving an impression that lingers long after the initial glance. The masterful use of contrasts and the richness of textures make this work a remarkable example of modern artistic expression.
Presentation
Nep- was born February 6th, 1980 in Tours, France, He lives and works in Dreux.
The characters of this artist (Street artist as well), are between them and between two children who go... They hesitate, move slowly, their words are crossed out, tremulous, keep quiet or rejoice like infinity. Do they ask to be helped to get from one point to another? No, even if they touch our emotions, they escape us, they are inundated with bright colors; a force of life that nothing can extinguish.
Nep- Is this letting go of his traits and pictoriality, which so many artists look for. The inner history which he transmits, with the energy of an infant, is ours.
