Description
Exclusive to Belart Gallery.
This artwork is a striking example of abstract expressionism, showcasing a vivid interplay of color and form. Dominated by bold, erratic brushstrokes, the piece features a chaotic yet captivating fusion of colors—vibrant pinks, greens, and yellows—layered against a textured background. The central figure, outlined in bold black lines, exudes a raw, emotive energy, inviting viewers to interpret its meaning. Intriguing geometric shapes intersperse with fluid forms, adding depth and complexity. The rough, almost graffiti-like text beneath the figure further enhances the urban, edgy feel of the piece. This artwork challenges traditional aesthetics, compelling the observer to engage with its dynamic composition and explore the emotions buried within. It's a powerful testament to the artist's ability to convey intensity and movement through unconventional techniques.
Presentation
Nep- was born February 6th, 1980 in Tours, France, He lives and works in Dreux.
The characters of this artist (Street artist as well), are between them and between two children who go... They hesitate, move slowly, their words are crossed out, tremulous, keep quiet or rejoice like infinity. Do they ask to be helped to get from one point to another? No, even if they touch our emotions, they escape us, they are inundated with bright colors; a force of life that nothing can extinguish.
Nep- Is this letting go of his traits and pictoriality, which so many artists look for. The inner history which he transmits, with the energy of an infant, is ours.
