Description
Exclusive to Belart Gallery.
This artwork is a bold exploration of color and form, showcasing an abstract approach to portraiture. It features a chaotic yet compelling arrangement of vivid hues, primarily red, green, and blue, layered over a pink background. The piece is characterized by expressive brushstrokes and dynamic textures, creating an intense visual energy. Among the chaotic interplay of colors, a face emerges, crudely defined yet captivating, with prominent red lips and a penetrating gaze. Words like “Prince" and “Joopz" are scrawled across the canvas, adding layers of intrigue and narrative ambiguity. The overlapping colors and spontaneous brushwork evoke a raw, emotional intensity, drawing viewers into its vibrant world. This artwork stands out for its daring composition and the audacious interplay of verbal and visual elements, challenging traditional aesthetics while inviting diverse interpretations.
Presentation
Nep- was born February 6th, 1980 in Tours, France, He lives and works in Dreux.
The characters of this artist (Street artist as well), are between them and between two children who go... They hesitate, move slowly, their words are crossed out, tremulous, keep quiet or rejoice like infinity. Do they ask to be helped to get from one point to another? No, even if they touch our emotions, they escape us, they are inundated with bright colors; a force of life that nothing can extinguish.
Nep- Is this letting go of his traits and pictoriality, which so many artists look for. The inner history which he transmits, with the energy of an infant, is ours.
