Description
An emblematic work by Noé Two, this piece embodies the encounter between animal power and the rich graphic language the artist has developed over several decades.
Through the majestic figure of the gorilla, a recurring theme in his work, Noé Two composes a piece of remarkable intensity. The calm yet assertive gaze contrasts with the energy of the colors, lines, and forms that structure the composition. This controlled tension lends the whole a striking presence.
A major figure in French graffiti and a founding member of the RAW collective, Noé Two has progressively developed a unique artistic style, blending urban heritage, graphic abstraction, and masterful painting. His works play with the codes of perception and reveal a profound artistic maturity.
With this piece, the artist delivers a work that is both powerful and contemplative. The gorilla here becomes a universal symbol of strength, wisdom, and connection to life, conveyed through a visually rich contemporary composition.
A true collector's item, this artwork naturally finds its place in even the most discerning interiors, where it becomes a focal point capable of structuring the space and sparking conversation.
A major creation for contemporary art lovers, collectors, and those passionate about the unique world of Noé Two.
Presentation
Noé Two is a Parisian artist born in 1974. He grew up close to the La Chapelle wasteland, the place of birth of the French Graffiti movement. He is part of a collective that marked the history of French graffiti: RAW (Real Authentik Writa).
Noé Two chosen his artist name in reference to Noah, the biblical character. As the ark that is a shelter for all the animals, his work covers different graphic and pictorial approaches in original compositions. Active since the late '80s, he is one of the emblematic figures of the French Graffiti, and one of the the most complete artists of his generation. His art consists of frescoes and paintings. But also in the field of graphic design: he creates 3D models, photo-montages and videos.
An innovative artist, he pushes the boundaries of realistic renderings of aerosol painting. His impressive mastery creates lifelike portraits on walls and on canvas. The last few years, Noé Two abandoned this style to explore other opportunities. He worked on a less realistic and more abstract interpretation, with a very graphic composition. His works are constructed by a set of forms, of curves and colors that are in realtion with each other. His works play with our perception of codes and pre-established rules.
Noé Two has been present on the international scene for more than two decades. He participated in projects, events and auctions in famous art spaces and has been recognized for his creations in the United States, in China and in Europe.
