Description

Elegant geometric forms map the landscape of memory. This artwork translates personal recollection into a contemporary visual structure built from overlapping shapes, balanced proportions, and carefully orchestrated color relationships. Each form functions like a fragment of experience, contributing to a larger architecture that continuously evolves.

The soft interplay between aqua, navy, ivory, blush pink, ochre, and black creates a sense of harmony and depth. The composition balances precision and fluidity, reflecting the way memory organizes, reshapes, and reinterprets the past.

Ideal for contemporary interiors, architectural environments, and curated collections, the artwork offers both aesthetic sophistication and conceptual richness. Its clean geometry and calming palette make it particularly suitable for modern living spaces, design studios, and professional environments.

An exceptional gift for art collectors, architects, interior designers, and individuals who appreciate contemporary abstraction with emotional and intellectual resonance.

Presentation

Julia Mauri is a contemporary artist, whose work explores memory, identity, and the emotional echoes of childhood. Born in 1985 in the former USSR, she holds a degree in linguistics from Udmurt State University but found her creative voice through visual art.

Mauri works primarily with epoxy resin and mirror surfaces, creating vibrant, tactile compositions that invite the viewer into a space of reflection—both literal and emotional. By combining candy-colored hues with glossy reflections, she evokes the tension between childhood joy and adult introspection. Her art turns light and surface into tools of psychological exploration, with each work acting as a window into fluid memory, shifting perception, and the vulnerability of self-awareness.

Her ongoing series, Let's Escape to Childhood, captures this dynamic interplay between past and present. In her practice, the mirror becomes more than a surface—it's a metaphor for transformation, presence, and emotional transparency. Resin, with its transformation from liquid to solid, symbolizes how fleeting memories settle into the structures that shape us.

Julia Mauri has participated in both national and international exhibitions, including The Universe Colors at A.L.L. Gallery (Italy) and Bare Walls at Gallery 676 (Russia). She is currently preparing for her debut solo exhibition at Signal Art Space in Kaliningrad. Her works are held in private and institutional collections in Russia and beyond.
