Description
A dreamlike scene unfolds with rare spontaneity. The line, nervous and fluid, composes a landscape where the everyday shifts into the fantastic. Human figures coexist with monumental animals. A giant turtle serves as refuge. A red crustacean becomes an improvised ship.
The composition plays on marked contrasts. Indian ink emphasizes the precision of the contours. Pastel and charcoal bring touches of solar colors and soft shadows. Graphite pencil punctuates all the minute details.
The artist captures a suspended moment. Between melancholy and lightness, the visual narrative invites introspection. Movement is omnipresent. The characters seem to navigate a boundless space, guided by signposts pointing towards the unknown.
This painting explores the boundary between dream and reality. It celebrates imperfection through a free gesture. The chromatic palette, dominated by yellow and red, illuminates this teeming composition. The whole ends with a fine line, drawing a white fence at the bottom of the image.
