Description
Work signed on the back. Abstraction is expressed here through a chromatic dialogue. Broad areas of color oppose and meet. A solar yellow dominates the upper part. It contrasts with a deep blue that anchors the composition. A touch of orange comes to break this balance, bringing immediate visual tension.
The work is based on a complex superposition of materials. The artist mixes acrylic with wax, plaster, and pigments. Charcoal and lead pencil add subtle graphic details. These fine lines highlight the structure and bring rigorous precision to the whole.
The material retains its raw appearance. Each layer reveals a methodical creative process. The support becomes a space of experimentation where texture plays an essential role. The final rendering oscillates between transparency and opacity. The whole is composed of pigments, ink, and wax on canvas.
Presentation
My paintings have been exhibited nationally, and some have been purchased abroad. For me, colors and shapes are the basis of abstract painting. I express myself primarily on wood or heavy linen canvases. These supports allow me to feel closer to reality and thus find greater balance in my work. I use various media such as binders, plaster, acrylic, charcoal, pencils, rare pigments, varnishes, and collage in my artistic process.
"The primary purpose of the material is not to give a sense of volume to the work. It must be left in its imprint state, it must remain, nevertheless, as a founding part of the project, upon contact with it the work comes to life."
