Description
The balance is established through a rigorous geometric composition. The canvas is divided into clear chromatic zones. A yellow solar block occupies the lower half. It brings immediate luminosity to the gaze. A horizontal black line, drawn with precision, separates the space. It acts as a dark and stable horizon.
The upper part plays with shades of pink and beige. These tones fade and blend softly. The artist uses a mixture of acrylic and pigments. This technical choice creates a contrast between matte surfaces and glossy textures.
The gesture alternates between the spontaneity of the brush and the rigor of the knife. The latter structures the whole and defines the contours. A few touches of red appear discreetly on the edges. They punctuate the surface and energize the visual reading. This painting from 2025 explores the freedom of abstract movement. It is based on an in-depth research of color associations. The final rendering emphasizes precise work on the material and light.
Presentation
My works are a real desire to express my emotions that only abstract art can translate, synonymous with freedom of thought and ideas allowing to walk without direction.
My seven years spent in Brussels, artistic and contemporary capital, nourished my creativity. Artists such as Christian-Hetzel, Gary Komarin and Allison B. Cooke also instilled powerful emotions in me, which have guided my work.
In love with colors and their associations, the use of pigments was a revelation, a technique that allowed me to develop my own color chart.
The work of the pigments gives to my realization a natural, wild aspect and the acrylic gives a brilliant texture to my canvas: I thus play on the material. I use the brush for the spontaneous movement it brings and the knife comes to structure the whole.
