Description
A dense tapestry of oil paint unfolds across the canvas. Thick application defines the surface. The artist uses a spatula to layer pigment in a rhythmic motion. This technique creates a rich texture. Small rectangular strokes overlap in a complex mosaic. Warm ochre and golden yellows dominate the upper register. They evoke the glow of a Mediterranean sun. Deep siennas and umbers anchor the composition. These earthy tones suggest ancient stone and weathered foundations.Â
The artwork balances pomiędzy structured architecture and fluid abstraction. It mirrors the meditative process of the creator. Soft whites peek through the gaps. They provide a luminous contrast to the saturated hues. There is a clear dialogue with the impressionist tradition. The focus remains on light and color harmony. The gaze wanders through a fragmented landscape. Every stroke contributes to a sense of timelessness. A dark blue undertone weaves through the bottom layer. It grounds the shimmering warmth of the scene. The result is a vibrant exploration of memory and space.
Presentation
Art for me is the freedom to express the different shades of color of the human soul. Putting the colors on the canvas is a kind of meditation. My hands move in a certain rhythm using a spatula to mix the colors directly on the canvas. I let the colors and my soul choose their direction. In fact the colors take their direction by themselves. I know exactly when my painting is ready, usually when it has reached a certain color balance. My major influences are Monet and Cezanne. I really appreciate the works of Van Gogh, Sissley Renoir and Micheal Angelo. I am fascinated by Japanese art and calligraphy.
