Description
This is a contemporary still life in the style of naive art, painted in oil on canvas (30x40 cm, canvas on cardboard). Its a perfect example of dopamine art, combining bright colors, bold forms, and an intriguing composition. At the center, a black-and-white striped vase holds a vibrant bouquet of yellow, orange, red, violet, lilac, and blue flowers. Impasto brushstrokes make the bouquet look almost three-dimensional, inviting you to reach out and touch the petals. The table features a black-and-white striped cloth, further enhancing the visual rhythm. The background is filled with colorful circles - red, yellow, blue, black, pink, and green - reminiscent of a playful carnival or clown motif. All elements seem to blend into each other: the vase, table, cloth, and background interact, giving the painting its own unique, lively atmosphere. This artwork is a striking accent for minimalist or bold interiors alike. Its suitable for women and men, couples, art collectors, as well as office and creative spaces - thanks to its neutral yet energetic subject. This still life will catch the eye, spark positive emotions, and bring ongoing joy. Key benefits: versatile: fits seamlessly into any contemporary interior, bright colors and naive painting style bring positivity and inspiration, ideal gift for contemporary art lovers and collectors, unique composition: every detail is thoughtfully designed to create depth, compact size allows easy placement, even in small spaces. The artwork will be sent in a box.
Presentation
Maria Melkova is a contemporary artist whose enchanting works bring fairy tales to life from the heart of Siberia. As a pupil of the esteemed Russian artist S.E. Sochivko, Maria has developed a distinctive style characterized by bright colors and rich compositions. Her art, often described as "dopamine painting," is a vivid celebration of life and imagination.
In the past year alone, Maria has participated in over 12 group exhibitions across Siberia and the Urals. Her works have found homes in private collections in five countries worldwide. Inspired by naive art and personal experiences, her paintings weave together fairy tale motifs and childhood memories, creating multilayered pieces that captivate with their vibrant energy.
Maria's creations are dedicated to the joy of life and carefree childhood, embodying the belief that art can bring light and inspiration to everyone. Each piece invites viewers to reconnect with simple joys and feel the warmth and love she infuses into her work.
Convinced that art is a transformative tool for the human spirit, Maria aims to evoke profound emotions—joy, sadness, nostalgia, and hope—leading to conscious reflection and a unique "awakening of the soul." This emotional and psychological impact is at the core of her artistic mission.
Maria delights in seeing her paintings travel the world. This year, her works have been showcased in various cities across China, securing second place at an international exhibition in Nepal and third place in Cambodia. As an artist rooted in Siberia, Maria Melkova continues to enchant global audiences with her imaginative and colorful art.
