Tsotne Kveselava

Oil on canvas mounted on board.

A vibrant energy pulses through this oil painting. The composition centers on a voluminous vessel. Its surface is a rhythmic grid of multicolored squares. Blue, yellow, and green hues clash and harmonize in a mosaic pattern. From the opening emerge winding, striped stems. They curve with organic fluidity. Pink blossoms crown these eccentric branches. The forms echo the raw intensity of Art brut. Bold outlines define every shape. The background shifts between deep greens and muted purples. Small vessels flank the central piece, adding balance to the dense arrangement. This artwork reflects a mastery of figurative distortion. The perspective is flattened and playful. Every brushstroke feels deliberate yet spontaneous. The artist blends self-taught instinct with formal guidance. This results in a powerful visual language. The colors are saturated and unapologetic. The scene transforms a simple still life into a psychological landscape. Geometric precision meets gestural freedom. The lower portion of the canvas introduces complex crisscrossing lines. These patterns ground the floating elements of the scene. The piece maintains a constant tension between order and chaos.
