Description
Pearl and silver fall the way a shawl slips from a shoulder — slowly, and without a sound. A single tall panel of it: the veil of a woman's hat, caught mid-descent and held there.
Nothing in this work is loud. Colour is reduced almost to silence — pearl, silver, soft grey — so that everything happens in the surface itself. Poured acrylic and metallic paint build a fine relief of ridges and veins that catches the raking light and changes through the day: cool and almost white at midday, warmer and deeper towards evening, with the pearl and metallic surfacing at an angle and disappearing head-on. Finished with lacquer, not resin — the surface stays dry and tactile, closer to stone and fabric than to glass, and it holds light rather than reflecting it back.
The tall vertical format gives a room height. The panel works above a console or a fireplace, along a hallway, on a stairwell wall, beside a doorway, or as a single focal point in a reception room. The palette is neutral enough to sit with stone, oak, linen and brushed metal, and quiet enough not to compete with the architecture around it.
This listing is for one panel, complete in itself. It belongs to a diptych, and the second panel is available separately; hung as a pair with a narrow gap, the two read as one continuous fall of light.
A new work, shown here for the first time. Original and unique, by Turik & Art. Hand-signed on the front, branded brass plaque on the side edge, certificate of authenticity included. Delivered stretched and ready to hang, double-boxed and insured.
Presentation
I am a contemporary abstract artist working under the name Kseniia Turik -Turik & Art, based between Paris and Marbella, with a background in luxury interior design. Working with private clients on refined interiors, I kept searching for the one artwork that would complete the space. That search eventually led me to create my own.
I create large-scale works in acrylic, art resin and lacquer, conceived for private residences. Each piece carries emotion, movement and energy, and does not simply exist within a space but transforms it.
I have exhibited at Art Capital, Grand Palais, Paris, in 2025 and 2026; at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum; at the Salon des Indépendants at the China National Convention Center in Beijing and the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center; at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris; and at the Contemporary Art Fair in Marbella. My works are held in private collections internationally.
Every piece is unique. On request, I also create commissioned works tailored to the colour palette, energy and atmosphere of a specific interior.
I am the author of Seven Voices, a documentary project in which seven people meet a single painting for the first time and answer the same seven questions, independently and without knowing what the others said. All episodes are available on YouTube.
Not decoration. Presence.
