Description
This diptych presents a profound study of chromatic tension and fluid motion. Two distinct palettes engage in a silent dialogue. The left panel glows with ethereal teals and luminous yellows. The right panel sinks into deep, moody indigos. These compositions emerge from a physical choreography. Every stroke records the movement of the body. The artist treats the surface as a living entity. Pigments accumulate and dissolve in a rhythmic dance. Transparencies layer over dense forms to create atmospheric depth. There is no rigid structure here. Only an intuitive exploration of material porosity and weight. The artwork captures a fight between opposing forces. Balance is sought through chance and controlled gesture. Ethereal washes contrast with sharp, gestural marks of lime green and stark white. The result is an intimate record of emotion translated into color. The gaze drifts between the light of the first panel and the shadows of the second. Each piece functions as a temporal marker of the creative process. The interaction emphasizes the porosity of the paint and the spontaneous nature of the execution.
The Intervals series explores the expansion of color as both a physical and emotional phenomenon. Water, as an indeterminate agent, displaces and transforms pigment on the surface, generating compositions that arise not from planning but from the encounter between matter and gesture. Each work becomes a record of the ephemeral: the moment when water moves, evaporates, and leaves its mark. The work then turns into a topography of process, a map of the interaction between control and chance. Far from representation, these paintings propose a perceptual experience, inviting the viewer to inhabit the energy of color in its purest and most expansive state.Â

Presentation
Rosario Briones is an artist and art teacher. Graduated from the Prilidiano Pueyrredón National School of Fine Arts in 2002. She took post graduate seminars at the Ernesto de la Cárcova Higher School of Fine Arts. She has also attended numerous art workshops.
In her work, the path of his body becomes shapes, and the shapes, an indication of the artistic process, of the material choreography directed by the emotion of the body, where it hides and an experience of intimate order is glimpsed.
The fluidity of her paintings finds no structure. Exploring the same procedure in different supports such as papers and fabrics. The artist is interested in the infinite possibilities that offer her the material, its porosities, weaves, thicknesses and different capacities of absorption, they return images that are not in her head. Signed for a game of tensions, a fight between forces, given by the accumulations of pigment, the transparencies, the forms and their search for balance. Sometimes controlled and other times more chance, they become a record of a living materiality. She is part of the Grupo Charco collective, an artistic research group made up of seven artists who together develop collective and individual actions
