Description
A vibrant cityscape unfolds in a kaleidoscope of primary colors. Bold black outlines define each structure. The composition blends architectural recognition with surreal imagination. A red dome anchors the horizon. It stands beside a slender tower. Below, a cluster of houses creates a rhythmic patchwork of pink, yellow, and blue. The perspective is flattened. This choice enhances the toy-like charm of the urban environment. The sky shifts from deep azure to soft violet. It is speckled with luminous white dots. Two whimsical floating vessels hover above the rooftops. Their rounded shapes contrast with the rigid geometry of the buildings. These elements introduce a cinematic mystery to the scene. The artist employs a saturated palette to evoke a sense of joy. Each brushstroke is confident and precise. Light seems to emanate from within the colors themselves. The sprawling rooftops lead the eye toward the celestial events unfolding above. This artwork transforms a familiar skyline into a dreamlike sanctuary. It captures a moment where the mundane meets the fantastic. The scene concludes with the artist's signature integrated into the lower right rooftops.
Presentation
One day, many years ago, I was walking near Victoria Station in London when I saw on the floor an old piece of wood. I had a magical idea! I bought some colours and a brush and rushed home. That night I started to paint and I have never stopped since.."
Self-taught artist Maria began to paint professionally in 2007. She was born in Florence, an amazing city but probably too small for her. In 2001 she moved to London. Through her very recognizable artworks Maria has created a unique parallel universe called "The Futuristic World ", a colourful, vibrant and funky place with hidden messages & symbols. What she aims is to stimulate people's imagination, make them feel happy and think deeper. New ideas flow through her all the time, so new art collections are continuously created. Her unique paintings are held in many private collections all around the World.
