Description
“Vessels" is an abstract composition of two vessels, created in acrylic on canvas, 80 × 60 cm.
At the center of the work are two simple vessel silhouettes, deliberately stripped of sharp, graphic outlines. The blurred, irregular edges are an intentional artistic choice: the forms seem to emerge from the surrounding space and gradually dissolve back into it.
The background is built as a multi-layered painterly environment of translucent layers, soft transitions, rich texture, and muted shades of grey, blue, milky white and warm white. It does not simply fill the space around the objects, but creates a sense of air, mist and depth.
Cool blue-grey tones are combined with subtle warm nuances, creating a calm, almost ethereal atmosphere. Dark lines only suggest the forms, leaving the viewer space to complete the image in their own perception.
The work is built around suggestion, softness, and the interaction between form and space. It is not a literal depiction of vessels, but rather their memory or impression within an atmosphere.
The artist's signature touch is the intentional blurring of the boundary between the object and its surroundings. The forms are defined just enough to be recognizable, but not enough to become completely fixed or predetermined. This allows the viewer to see not only vessels, but perhaps their own image, memory, or feeling within them.
In an interior, the painting works particularly well in spaces that allow its texture and subtle nuances to unfold: Minimalist, Japandi, Scandinavian, Contemporary, Wabi-Sabi, and Organic Modern interiors. It can complement a living room, bedroom, hallway, study, or dining area, especially alongside natural wood, stone, linen and matte metals.
