Description
The gaze is immediately drawn to a marked chromatic contrast. A dark bird stands out against a light blue background, almost ethereal. Its black silhouette is highlighted by a touch of solar yellow.
The composition revolves around lush vegetation. Red and orange flowers bloom boldly. Their petals stretch like flames in a serene sky.
The artist uses oil with expressive freedom. The stroke is assertive. The material brings a tangible relief to the leaves of a deep green.
The bottom of the composition reveals a precise graphic detail. A circular leaf, striated with radial lines, anchors the scene in a stylized nature.
The whole exudes an optimistic atmosphere. The light seems to capture the fleeting moment of an end of the day. Each brushstroke emphasizes a desire to translate a sensory impression.
The harmony rests on the balance between the cool tones of the sky and the warmth of the vegetal pigments. This painting of 2026 explores a landscape where fauna and flora dialogue with intensity.
Presentation
Born in Paris, I spent almost every summer in Provence in the region of Saint-Tropez. Almost 30 years in fashion gave me a passion for colors and they are a bit the signature of my painting. In December 2017, I left the Paris region for San Remo. I find there the warm colors of the south and the gaiety of the Italians. My pictures are optimistic. I like the fades of dry pastel, but also their lively features which give life to the drawing. I like the warm colors of the oil painting, the softness of the brush, but also the liveliness and the work of the material with a knife. My painting is "sensitive": I use the technique that best reflects my "impressions" and my "emotions". I feel "Expressionist".
