Description
This stunning work of art, created by Van Apple, is a real eye-catcher! It is crafted from a variety of materials and coated with a rich layer of epoxy resin, creating a stunning visual effect. Only seven copies of this artwork were made, each with subtle, unique variations. Various materials have been incorporated into the piece, including beautifully colored stones. The artwork is mounted on a sturdy wooden frame with a hanging system, meaning it can be hung directly on the wall. It comes with an official certificate of authenticity.
Diederik van Appel has a long history of representing Dutch artists at exhibitions around the world. During his travels, his desire to explore his own artistic creativity grew. Inspired by his experiences, artistic vision, and love of art, he developed his own style of pop art. His art combines digital techniques with photography as its foundation. He uses gold leaf, vibrant colors, and a variety of other elements. The final finish with epoxy resin creates a stunning three-dimensional effect.
It is important to note that, because epoxy resin is used in the artworks, they are difficult to capture in photographs. We can say with certainty that the true beauty of the works is far more impressive than what can be seen on the website. We therefore warmly invite you to come and admire Van Apple's artworks in person at our gallery. All of the artworks shown are available for viewing here.
Presentation
Diederik van Apple is born and raised in Leiden, Netherlands, in 1985. During his childhood, Diederik was addicted to all comic books, including Tin Tin, Walt Disney, and Marvels books as well as legendary movies like The Godfather, Scarface, Pulp Fiction and James Bond. He loved watching, reading and fully go up in the stories, as if he was part of the play himself.
In 2003 he started his Law study but after two years he found out that he couldn't express his creativity in this study and decided to stop. In 2005, he started as an Art Representative in an Art Gallery in Amsterdam. During those years, he travelled around the world participating Exhibitions and Art Fairs for the Art Gallery and found his true passion.
With his experience, artistic insight and passion for art, he started to think of designs for his creations. Combining his fantasy with the artistic vibe where he lived in for the last years. There was no line between work and free time and he started to build up to unlimited ways of digital mix-media art. After his first launch in 2017, he made several series of limited editions, which were sold out in no time.
This was the beginning of Van Apple's artworks and his career. He took his time for 6 months and brought out amazing new series. After his latest releases, he decided to go deeper into the creative vibes and took a single flight to Ibiza. The most artistic island on the earth was a great success and frequently new things are coming up. At the moment, his artworks are popular worldwide under international galleries, art lovers and investors are intrigued by his style.
The art of Van Apple is a combination of digital techniques, such as photography and famous characteristics. The basis of the art is aluminum or gold foil. Then he adds holograms, colors, glitters, diamonds and other handcrafted items. All artworks are finished by hand with several layers of epoxy. By adding these layers, he is able to create innovative and unique mix-media art with a fantastic 3D effect.
