Description
The painting is very quiet and intimate—it conveys a sense of loneliness, tranquility, and tenderness.
“The White Bird”
On the still, almost weightless water
stands a white bird, its feet resting on a branch.
All around is a silvery mist and cold light,
and on the water’s surface,
a barely perceptible pink glimmer dissolves.
The bird gazes into the distance,
as if listening to the silence.
Everything around it has come to a standstill—
and only the water slowly carries its reflection.
This is a painting about loneliness without sadness,
about anticipation and quiet freedom.
