Description
The painting depicts a quiet, contemplative landscape in light, muted tones. At the center of the composition is a solitary bird standing on a stone by the water. Its figure is rendered in raised, textured strokes that give the image a sense of living texture and fragility.
All around lies the calm surface of the water, reflecting the soft evening sun. In the distance, trees and a misty horizon are barely visible, creating an atmosphere of evening calm. Dark silhouettes of birds circle in the air, adding movement and depth to the painting.
Overall, the work conveys an impression of silence, solitude and harmony with nature. It evokes a sense of calm, gentle sadness and reflection.
