Llima sense Mànec i Cinta de Pintor, 2021

Vicenç Marco

This composition explores the tension between precision and chaos. A muted brown background provides a somber, earthy foundation. Dark splatters and organic stains drift across the center. They suggest a sense of decay or accidental pouring. Two strips of white tape cut through the darkness. They act as anchors of artificiality within the void. Sharp geometric lines and subtle inscriptions overlap the surface. These elements evoke the feeling of a technical blueprint or a forensic document. The interplay of light and shadow creates a shallow but haunting depth. Every mark feels deliberate yet spontaneous. The contrast between the clean edges of the tape and the raw ink blur creates a rhythmic visual friction. A thin horizontal line bisects the upper half of the image. It stabilizes the drifting darker forms below. The final result is a meditative study on memory and erasure. Fine droplets of black pigment scatter toward the edges of the frame.
