These photographs in the MATAS series may bring a Dionysian understanding of nature's complexity that surpasses the scientific, distant, and the binary way of approaching meaning. Representing the organic using the chemistry of light in an organic way is more reminiscent of the  myth.

This artwork presents a striking close-up of a vibrant red dahlia, commanding attention with its lush, velvety petals radiating from a tightly clustered center. The flower’s saturation contrasts dramatically against a muted, shadowy background, enhancing its vividness and depth. The meticulous detailing captures each petal’s texture, creating a sense of movement and liveliness, as if the petals are gently swaying. This contrast in lighting intensifies the dahlia's intricate layers. The deep crimson hue imbues the piece with warmth and passion, while the shadowy backdrop lends an air of mystery and elegance. The composition’s sharp focus on the flower allows viewers to appreciate its natural beauty and complexity, highlighting the perfection found in nature's design. This artwork is a celebration of floral magnificence, evoking emotions of admiration and awe through its masterful use of color and light.
