Description
SOLARIZATIONS
All the works in this series are worked using the same technique.
After shooting and selection, during post-production, with a practice approaching classic solarization (i.e. the modification of the basic colors by a short exposure to the bright light of the negative), the images obtained all have a striking character. and surreal, which reinforces the visual attraction of each of them.
The great photographer MAN RAY was recognized as a master of “Black and White” by applying this process.
The white palisade
The image speaks for itself with on one side the purity of an immaculate blue sky, and below an accumulation of steep rocks that encircle a thick maquis.
The imposing palisade that separates these two elements brings all the density to this work full of serenity, from which an infinite and contrasting space emerges.

Presentation
As a long time independent professional photographer in the industrial and advertising field, he finally takes the time for his personal research focused on color and matter, and the resulting atmosphere is always guided by the rigor of the composition, and often close to painting.
His perception of the final image must be for him a link between the subject and the experience of each one, that is to say a link of common places of the collective memory and their visual interpretation.
As many of his images offer several readings to the eye, we can say that he applies himself to show facets of elements that we are used to looking at in their entirety.
In conclusion, Christian Lefèvre considers that each of his current works is the story of a little story playing its own music, and where everyone will be able to escape according to his mood.
